Fans Defending Stacey
Stacey Solomon has faced backlash after sharing a family holiday photo, prompting her fans to come to her defence.
The 34-year-old mum and presenter, along with her husband Joe Swash, 42, whisked their kids away for a sun-drenched break, capturing the moment in a joyous pre-flight picture. But it wasn't all smooth sailing, as some nitpicking followers questioned why Joe's son Harry, 17, from a previous relationship with Emma Sophocleous, wasn't part of the holiday lineup.
Supporters of Stacey swiftly countered the criticism.
One stepped up saying, "Doesn't anyone come straight to the comments to see the pathetic comments like: 'Are you not taking Joe's other son?' Get over it. He's 17 now and probably has his own stuff going on."
Another fan chimed in support, noting: "They've said a million times he just isn't in pics, but does go to things."
In the face of inquiries about Harry's absence in her social media, Stacey has previously explained the sensitivity of depicting their blended family publicly, stating: "Publicly that's not something that I can do and I totally respect that.
"We respect everyone's wishes, we're a blended family and sometimes that's a bit more complicated than it seems. I don't know if that's the best way to explain it!"
Joe Shares a Glimpse of Harry
Joe Swash keeps a relatively low profile with his oldest child, but he took to social media last month sharing an update about Harry. Revealing his boy had been gaining some work experience at his celebrity agency, Joe was beaming with pride as he treated Harry to a luxury meal at Sheesh in the capital, reports the Mirror.
Joe excitedly posted on Instagram Stories: "My eldest son Harry is doing work experience at my agency @ymuentertainment so I popped down 2 take him for lunch at our favourite restaurant @sheesh_uk 67-69 Piccadilly in London! ".
Pickle Cottage on the Small Screen
Despite initial reservations due to privacy concerns, it is believed that the X Factor alum has come around to the idea, exciting fans who can't wait to delve into the ins and outs of their bustling home life at Pickle Cottage.
A Family of Chaos and Love
With a household full of kids, including Stacey's sons Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 13, as well as the couple's children, Rex, five, Rose, two and one year old Belle, the series promises to deliver a hearty slice of family antics.
Speaking to Closer, a source disclosed: "Stacey and Joe are such homebodies and love nothing more than spending time with their children. The series is set to be a huge hit, given the chaos that comes with a big family."
