King Crimson: A Celebration of 50 Years
King Crimson fans, get ready for a double dose of anniversary celebrations! This year marks the 50th anniversary of two iconic albums: Red and Larks' Tongues In Aspic.
Red will be 50 next October 6th, in celebration of the anniversary of this classic King Crimson album, DGM & Panegyric will release a 50th Anniversary Edition on October 11th, which will be available in as a 4 disc boxed set (2 Blu-ray & 2 CDs) and as a 2 LP 200 gram vinyl set.
Larks' Tongues In Aspic 50th anniversary will be celebrated with two comprehensive sets, a 2 CD / 2 Blu-ray set and a 2 LP on 200 gram vinyl one, set for release on October 13th, 2023.
A Trip Down Memory Lane
For those looking to delve deeper into King Crimson's history, there are several exciting releases on the horizon. Sheltering Skies (Live in Fréjus, August 27th 1982) will be released on September 6th, 2024, presenting the complete King Crimson performance across 2 LPs pressed on 200gram vinyl or a single CD, both completed with the addition of the recording of ‘The Sheltering Sky’ from the previous night’s concert at Cap d’Agde.
