There has been a sad end to the search for a man missing from Co Kildare since Tuesday as gardaí confirmed they have recovered a body. 43-year-old Andrew Brady had been reported missing from Allenwood Co Kildare since Tuesday September 24, 2024. Sadly The search for Andrew has been stood down following the discovery of a body in Co Kildare.
"Following the discovery of a man’s body in Co Kildare, the missing person appeal in respect of 43-year-old Andrew Brady, who has been missing from Allenwood, Co Kildare since Tuesday, September 24, 2024, has now been stood down,” confirmed Gardaí. An Garda Síochána thanked the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.
Andrew had been last seen in Allenwood at 2pm on Tuesday, September 24, before an alert was issued amid concern for his wellbeing.

The search for tragic Mateusz ‘Matty’ Margol was stood down by Gardai following the discovery of a body. The 35-year-old was first reported missing from Nenagh, Co Tipperary on Wednesday, August 7. He was last seen wearing blue ripped jeans, a black jacket and a baseball cap on Ormond Drive in Nenagh before 9am that morning. He was described as being of thin build, standing at 5ft 10inches in height with black hair. When Mateusz was reported missing, Gardai said they were “concerned” for his wellbeing and asked anyone with information to come forward. In an update yesterday, they confirmed that the search had been stood down.
