The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has sounded the alarm with an urgent recall announcement for certain products from Slimming World and Iceland, flagging them as potentially "unsafe" due to undeclared peanut presence.
According to the FSAI alert: "Peanut is not an ingredient in this product and therefore is not declared in the list of ingredients. This may make the batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanut," the authority warned, reports the Irish Mirror. Some of these products are also sold in Dunnes Stores across Ireland.

Iceland's direct guidance was clear: "If you have purchased any of the above product, DO NOT eat it."
Specifically recalled are five Slimming World and three Iceland ready meals which should be returned for a full refund if bought by those with peanut allergies. The Irish Food Allergy Network (IFAN) notes that peanut allergies are quite common in children and often coexist with asthma, eczema, or hay fever.
