A LOVE Island star has dropped a huge hint he's missing his ex - and wants to reunite - with a sad TikTok clip. We previously told how the pair split in late February after seven months together and following 'crisis talks' to mend their romance.
Tyrique Hyde, 25 - who has hit out at social media fans quizzing him about his break-up with Ella Thomas, 23 - took to his page for a solo video and emotional caption.
The semi professional footballer was seen strolling the streets in the dark, with Akon track Mr Lonely playing as the backdrop. The Love Island alumni was then was seen entering a take-out where he sipped a Capri-Sun drink. Tyrique's skin appeared glowing as he flashed a pout at the camera.
In his emotional caption he wrote: "Had to tell my barber to let me cool off at Pepe's while he was putting a face mask on me. Cause it reminds me of the time my ex used to do that too," followed by a sad Emoji face and the letters "brb."
In the TikTok comments, one fan was quick to write: "You and Ella Thomas will get back together in the future I reckon. Just keep working on yourself."
Another put: "Ella please take him back!"
A third commented: "Ella I beg," as another wrote: "He's brave for posting this."
One then simply put: "Get back together then."
They had previously split in November last year, but got back together. Yet February's parting of ways has proved permanent.
Earlier this year, one of Tyrique's social media followers quizzed: "Ella announced your breakup and you have nothing to f***kin say no!"
Love Island All Stars will be back for its second series in 2025 - and rumours are already rife as to who will be making a comeback this time around. After the second All Stars series was announced in May, show boss Mike Spender said: "Lots of people have been in contact about it, lots of fun people, from series one onwards. We cast it because we knew what was going on behind the scenes of who was getting with who and now even more stories have come out. I think we will now save ex-islanders for All Stars."
One rumoured name for the next series is data engineer Harry Baker. Harry, 25, arrived in the villa as a bombshell in Series 11. He soon 'stole' Grace Jackson after making his debut. Arriving late in the run, he only lasted for a few days before being dumped alongside Lola Deloca. Despite the hunk's brief stint, viewers have called for Harry's return. One upset fan wrote: "Get you in All Stars next", to which Harry cryptically replied by posting 'shrugging' emojis.
"Tf you want me to say?" Tyrique responded. "This is my life g. Did you announce your breakup to the world? Just cos people on Love Island usually put out statements don’t mean I have to. That’s not my portion. Thank you to all my followers who show love. LATAA."
Tyrique's Emotional TikTok Video
Tyrique's video is a clear sign that he's not over Ella. The fact that he chose to use the song Mr Lonely and captioned the post with a reference to Ella is a strong indication that he's still holding on to some hope that they can reconcile. The video also suggests that Tyrique is missing the routine of their relationship, including Ella's use of face masks. He's trying to cope with the heartbreak by "cooling off" at Pepe's, but clearly still has Ella on his mind. His use of "brb" at the end of the caption suggests that he is hoping to get back together with Ella.
Fans React to Tyrique's TikTok
Tyrique's fans were quick to react to the video, with many urging the couple to get back together. The comments section of his TikTok video was flooded with messages from fans who were hoping for a reconciliation. Some fans even took to Twitter to express their support for the couple, using the hashtag #TyriqueAndElla.
The fact that Tyrique chose to share this emotional video with his followers shows that he's not afraid to be vulnerable. He's willing to open up about his feelings, even if it means putting himself out there. This openness has only made his fans more supportive of him and his relationship with Ella.
The History of Tyrique and Ella's Relationship
Tyrique and Ella's relationship has been a rollercoaster ride from the start. They met on Love Island in 2023 and quickly fell for each other. However, their relationship was tested when Ella left the villa for the first time, and Tyrique appeared to have a change of heart. Despite this, the pair rekindled their romance and appeared to be going strong. But just a few months later, they split for good. Tyrique's TikTok video suggests that he's still hoping to get back together with Ella, but only time will tell if the couple will be able to rekindle their romance. It appears the couple are not only attracting fan support, but they've also been given the go-ahead to appear on Love Island: All Stars in 2025.
Are Tyrique and Ella's Split and Reunion Fake?
Tyrique and Ella's on-again, off-again relationship has led some fans to question whether their split and subsequent reunion were a publicity stunt. Their on-again-off-again relationship is a common theme on the show with some suggesting this is a marketing strategy for the couple's future career. They've been seen together on numerous occasions since their second breakup, which has only fueled the speculation. However, the pair have denied the rumors, insisting that their relationship is real. It's unclear whether their reunion will be permanent, but only time will tell whether their relationship is truly back on track.
What's Next for Tyrique and Ella?
It's still too early to tell what the future holds for Tyrique and Ella. However, their recent actions suggest that they're both open to getting back together. They've been spending time together since their split, and Tyrique's emotional TikTok video shows that he's still thinking about her. It's possible that their relationship could be back on track, but only time will tell. In the meantime, fans are eagerly awaiting updates on their status. While this is the most recent development, it might not be the final chapter in their story.
