The NBA 2K series has been a referent in basketball simulators since its beginnings. 2K Games found the right formula to reproduce the most popular basketball competition worldwide with all of its teams and star players and supports it with exciting gameplay mechanics. NBA 2K25 will be released in just a few days, and the developer has published a video showcasing the modifications to one of the most controversial features of the series. The City is now more interactive and it has been redesigned with new locations and more options than ever to offer an improved experience to the fans of the series.

You will be able to practice in your new private court and invite your friends to join you in a variety of games. Also, you can customize this space to make it totally yours. The City also gives you access to the Proving Grounds, a new arena that can host ranked 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 matches that will become the new home of the most competitive players thanks to having its own leaderboards. Of course, The REC, Theater, Pro-Am, Starting 5, and Ante-Up will be available too for those who prefer to enjoy the game without risking their ranking. The competition between ELITE and RISE will also be back this season with new territories and rewards for MyPLAYER.
