Prof. Epiphany Azinge, a renowned legal scholar and former Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), has been chosen as the 14th Asagba of Asaba, the paramount traditional ruler of the ancient town. His selection was announced in August 2024, following a rigorous process that involved other prominent sons of Asaba.
