Tesco has issued an important message to its customers before Christmas. The supermarket chain has told customers it is the last day to sign up for Delivery Saver. Today (November 4) is the last chance for people to get priority Christmas delivery slots. However, there is a simple hack which can give customers a start ahead and grab that important food slot. All customers need to do is sign up for the Delivery Saver plan before 11:59pm tonight and secure early access to online slots for Christmas.
Tesco shoppers will then be able to get priority Christmas slots for tomorrow morning (November 5) when they open at 6am. Slots then open for all other customers on November 12 at 6am, which is one week earlier than last year. The popular supermarket chain is making it easier for customers to get their Christmas food and drink this year.
Delivery Saver Anytime
Tesco has introduced thousands of extra slots in the two weeks leading up to the big day and has also added 60 more delivery vans to its fleet. This means customers can book their delivery slots with the supermarket early and guarantee their favorite Christmas goodies. The supermarket chain has also increased the capacity of its rapid delivery service, Whoosh, with thousands of extra slots available on Christmas Eve this year, perfect for those who have forgotten an item or have made last-minute plans. But that's not the only benefit of joining the Delivery Saver service. The subscription plan is designed to help reduce the cost of regular online grocery orders, with a range of plans running for six or 12 months with prices starting from £2.49 a month.
Priority Christmas Delivery
The plans mean any orders will be delivered to the home or available through the Click+Collect service at selected stores. Clubcard vouchers can also be converted into reward tokens and can then be used as payment for a Delivery Saver subscription. Tesco is reminding customers that the clock is ticking for those looking to secure a coveted early Christmas delivery slot. To get ahead, shoppers can join the supermarkets Delivery Saver plan up until 11:59pm tonight for priority access. Early birds with a Delivery Saver Anytime or Click+Collect plan will see slots opening at 6am tomorrow gaining a week's advantage ahead of everybody else.
Boosting Delivery Capacity
While the rest of Tesco's customers can book from November 12 at 6am, noticing it's one week earlier compared to the previous year. Not stopping there, Tesco has also bolstered its festive preparations by introducing 60 additional delivery vans and releasing thousands more delivery slots nationwide. Tesco is also adding more delivery vans to its fleet, increasing its capacity for customers as Christmas Day approaches. The supermarket has also added 60 more delivery vans to its fleet for the festive period. Tesco will also offer thousands more slots on Christmas Eve this year via its Whoosh service. The delivery service lets shoppers order food and have it delivered to their homes within 20 to 60 minutes.
Delivery Saver for Regular Shoppers
Known for easing the cost of regular online grocery orders, Delivery saver encompasses various subscription options starting at just £2.49 a month for a time frame of six or 12 months, reports Wales Online. Clubcard members not already subscribed can redeem points or use vouchers towards a Delivery Saver scheme. Tesco Delivery Saver passes let you pay a flat fee either monthly for six months or 12 months. An anytime delivery plan costs £6.99 per month for 12 months and gives you priority access to click and collect slots and Christmas home delivery. You can also pay £7.99 per month for six months. Customers can also sign up for an off peak delivery plan which costs £3.99 a month for 12 months or £4.99 a month for six months.
Get Your Festive Shopping Done Early
Off peak delivery lets you order to your home post 3pm but does not include same-day delivery. Meanwhile, the click and collect passes can only be bought on a six-month term, costing £2.49 per month. They come with same-day collection, early access to Christmas slots and you can collect at any time of the day. Tesco has sent out a final call to customers who wish to secure an early Christmas delivery slot. The retail titan is offering its Delivery Saver plan members the opportunity to book thousands of early slots for Christmas deliveries, with the deadline set for 11:59pm on Monday. Those subscribed to the Delivery Saver Anytime and Delivery Saver Click+Collect services can begin booking from 6am the following day, enjoying a one-week advantage. On November 12 at 6am, the remaining customers will have their chance to book, a full week earlier than in the previous year. Tesco has also bolstered its delivery capacity by adding 60 vans to its fleet and increasing the number of available slots nationwide.
