Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling, now known as Impact Wrestling, will continue its annual tradition of inducting legends into its Hall of Fame during the 2024 Bound For Glory Weekend. Since 2020, TNA has added at least one new inductee to its Hall of Fame during each Bound For Glory weekend, and this year is no different.
Heading into this year’s Bound For Glory 2024 pay-per-view on October 26 at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan, the buzz is surrounding who will be the newest inductee. Some fans have been wondering if a new inductee will be announced for the TNA Hall of Fame, with several names circulating as potential candidates.
According to inside sources, discussions are ongoing behind-the-scenes about potential candidates for the 2024 TNA Hall of Fame. While nothing has been confirmed, The Hardys—Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy—are among the top names being considered for this prestigious honor. Both Hardys have stated that they would be honored to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame.
However, the biggest name being thrown around as a potential inductee is current WWE Superstar AJ Styles. He's widely regarded as one of the most prominent “homegrown talent” in the history of TNA, and many within the company are hoping that Styles will get the nod for the 2024 induction. Styles had an incredible run in TNA from 2002 until the end of 2014, becoming a five-time World Heavyweight Champion, a two-time TNA Grand Slam Champion, and a five-time TNA Triple Crown Champion.
It’s also worth noting that TNA's recent working relationship with WWE NXT could open the door for a Styles Hall of Fame induction. Stars from both companies have been crossing over from week-to-week. Styles, the former WWE Champion, might be seen as a good fit for the TNA Hall of Fame by many fans who followed his career in TNA.
TNA's Hall of Fame History
TNA launched its Hall of Fame in 2012, with Sting being the first inductee. Since then, the company has inducted several wrestling legends, including Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, Gail Kim, Abyss, and Team 3D (Dudley Boyz). Earl Hebner even became the first referee inducted in 2015. So far, 14 individuals are in the TNA Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is typically held during the Bound For Glory PPV weekend, TNA’s biggest event of the year. While the company has not officially announced who will be inducted this year, fans are eagerly awaiting news on who will be joining the ranks of TNA Hall of Fame legends.
The Future of the TNA Hall of Fame
TNA's commitment to its Hall of Fame demonstrates its dedication to honoring its rich history and recognizing the wrestlers who helped shape the company's legacy. As TNA continues to evolve, it’s safe to assume that the Hall of Fame will continue to be a significant part of its identity, ensuring that the contributions of its past stars are never forgotten.
