Pop royalty Katy Perry is headed Down Under for her The Lifetimes tour!!! I know her new 143 era has been somewhat of a flop, but she’s still a damn good performer and will surely whip out a bunch of her hits.
She made the announcement on Sunrise, and will hit four cities in Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Bless you, Katy!
“I am super keen to announce The Lifetimes tour, and I’m rolling out dates first in Australia,” she said on the show.
“It’s been a long time, but I feel like I’m totally ready for it. It’s a high-energy singalong with all the songs that everybody knows and more.”
Katy joins a bunch of other pop girlies who are coming to Australia soon, including Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, PinkPantheress, Tate McRae and Dua Lipa. We’ve won!
The “Roar” singer hasn’t announced her opening act yet, but fingers crossed she picks a super talented Aussie musician to help boost their profile.
It’s unclear where else Katy is taking her The Lifetimes tour as she’s only announced Aussie dates for now, but I’d put my money on it being a worldwide tour.
Get ready to battle the other KatyCats for tickets, because Katy Perry has only announced one show in each Aussie city. I reckon she’ll be adding more shows once they sell out, but I wouldn’t judge anyone for taking a sick day to try and nab tickets just in case.
She hasn’t announced any NZ shows, so you might also have to fend off some of those pesky Kiwis in the ticket queue! Take a squiz at the dates and ticketing details for Katy Perry’s 2025 Australian tour below.
If you’re a Telstra Plus member, you’ll be able to get your tickets before anyone else! The presale takes place on Friday, 27 September at 10am local time, through the Telstra Plus website. This presale ends at 8am local time on Tuesday, 1 October.
There’s also a Snaffle presale happening from Tuesday, 1 October at 9am local time, via the Snaffle website. This presale ends at 9am local time on Thursday, 3 October.
If you miss out during the two presales, don’t worry! There are always a bunch of tickets released for general sale, and I have faith in you. General public tickets will go on sale on Friday, 4 October at 10am local time on Ticketek.
At this stage, there doesn’t seem to be a price guide for Katy Perry’s Aussie tickets, but stay tuned.
