The Opposition
On Saturday, Hartlepool went down 1-0 at home to Dag & Red after an early goal. All three of their wins so far have come away from home, with four draws and one defeat at the Prestige Group Stadium.
They are the league’s lowest scorers with seven but have only conceded the same number in their opening ten. Of those matches played so far, there have been seven occasions where there has been one goal or less at full-time.
Darren Sarll’s side finished last campaign in 12th position in their first season back at this level after a two-year stint in League Two.
